Prostate Screening (PSA)

Sale price $79.00

Testing Location: Denton

The PSA test measures the level of prostate-specific antigen (PSA) in your blood. Elevated PSA levels can be a sign of prostate cancer, but they may also indicate other conditions like an enlarged prostate (benign prostatic hyperplasia) or prostate inflammation (prostatitis). PSA levels naturally increase with age. If your results show elevated levels, it’s important to consult with a healthcare provider to determine the next steps.

Why Get Tested?

All men are at risk for prostate problems. Symptoms to watch for include:

  • Frequent urge to urinate
  • Dribbling or difficulty urinating
  • Nighttime urination
  • Blood in urine or semen
  • Pain or burning during urination or ejaculation
  • Lower back, pelvic, or rectal pain
  • Changes in prostate size or texture
  • Lumps or hard areas near the prostate

If you're experiencing any of these, it's a good idea to consult with a healthcare provider.
